Can we discuss one of my favourite holiday moments please: the delicious post-shower sundowner window. That specific time towards the end of the day after every inch of skin and scalp is cleansed of pool chlorine, beach sand, saltwater and layers of sun cream (and a damp cosie - shudder). You’re quenched in cooling aftersun, there’s no requirement for makeup, you’re in a breezy, comfortable outfit, you’ve popped on a jangly earring and slipped on a bangle, and now you’re ready for the first sip of icy rosé on the terrace.

I was doing this ritual every night on holiday recently, and I found myself absolutely NOT wanting to add the very thing I love the most into this magical window: perfume.
